QUIK! What is the sensor next to the Coolant Temp Sensor?

Engine: 350 TPI,CrossFire 305 and LS1
Transmission: 4L60 and 700R4 and 4L60E
Axle/Gears: 90-3.23,83-3.42,99-3.73,02-3.42
I think the only thing around there is above it near the throttle body and it is the IAC idle air control and above that is the TPS throttle position sensor

when i went to napa to replace my cts, i had aken the cold start sensor out not knowing what it was. the guy spent at least a half an hour flipping through books before he found out what it was. also it was around 50 bucks and he had to special order it...it was covered with deposits from the coolant, but 50 bucks was a little much so i used some 300 grit sandpaper and polished it right up....no word on how well it worked though...
