New bests for my 406... 11s!!!
11.84 @ 118 mph.
I finally got some used mickey thomsons. It bogged off the line, as I wasn't prepared for how hard they would hook. Since the tracks are closed, looks like it is time for some hooker LTs and my nitrous system.
Ohh, I have a cheesy 2.8 mb video from my digital camera If anyone knows how to make it avalible to the TGO people, let me know.

I'll check out that slip later. I am too at school now, it's break time.
I'll get times for the new engine asap. If the track's closed by then, I'll get dyno #'s instead.
The engine will be in the car this week. The shortblock is completely put together and is sitting on a motorstand. I just gotta get the car in the garage and get the brackets, heads, and intake on. Not to mention the little things. I would've already had the engine together, but the shop had to order tit. retainers in order to finish ***. the heads. I'm really excited. I'll get the heads later today!

I'm hoping to run around your times, Gofaster. That would be the same as it was running before. I'll be happier if I hit 120mph traps and I think I could because of more comp. and brand new everything. I figured it up and if I were to duplicate my motor with all new parts the engine would end up being right at ten grand.
That scares me. The best deal was getting the race shop to put my entire shortblock together including the cam being degreed for only $150. That brought the total machine shop bill to $1100, which was more than I figured, but I always do that. Talk to you later.
Joe

Thanks guys.
David, actually it bogged b/c I dumped the clutch too low. That was a 2500 dump. I went to 3500 on the next pass (see the video link above) and it spun and went sideways to an 11.95.
wait, when did u give me leathals times?
