MAT Sensor
If I have blocked off my EGR and disabled the code, will I need the air temperature sensor in the plenum? Or is it used for something other than EGR. It is an '89 (maf) TPI system.

As far as anyone can tell, that statement is FALSE for MAF cars. Unless you have some information we don't? Guys on the PROM board would appreciate it if you could show them the code for it...

Okay, so maybe it is and maybe it isn't used for non-EGR purposes. Will it throw a code if I don't wire it in? I am still in the building stage and can't really experiment on my own. Thanks for any opinions.
