Intake retrofit. Possible or worth it?
Currently running the stock single snorkel (speed density) intake on my 91 Formula. Earlier today, a friend of mine, who just totaled his 89 Camaro gave me a call and asked if there were any parts I wanted off the car, and yes I have a good list made up already, thank you. My question concerns the intake. His camaro has the stock dual snorkel (MAF) setup on it. Unfortunately, I cant seem to find a good enough picture to decide whether or not I would be able to retrofit my 91 with with the 89's dual intake. Anyone messed around with this? If so, can it be done without relocating the battery or cooling compnents? Furthermore, is there any power gain from the mod and is it worth the time? Thanks a bunch

I dont think it will work on a stock car cause the Firebird hoods are lower than the camaros. But if you cut a bunch of metal away from ur radiatior support I think u could wing it. Go try it!! I bet some one has done it before!!
