fuel pump problems

fuel pump problems
I just dont know what to check?When i start the engine the fuel pump doesnt prime?I cant hear it and i also have a gauge on it that reads zero until its running.It does start and run but this is really bugging me.Any ideas maybe the computer if f***ing up?Im at a loss!thanx

Do you have it triggered on by an ECM only?
You might want to try using an ignition wire to trigger the relay so it's on whenever the key is forward.
