Need 305 Rebuild Kit

I recently pulled my 305 TPI out of my 91' TA. Im going to rebuild the engine and was wondering if anyone recomends a certain rebuild kit I should buy. I know summit has some 305 kits or would I be better off on ordering all the parts seperate?

Well that is a fairly vague question. It really depends on what you want to do with the car. If you want a budget rebuild for reliability, I would suggest going through Northern auto parts, which will be cheap. If you want this is an ideal time to upgrade to a 350 it won't cost you much at this point. The rebuild kit will be cheaper for a 350 and they are pretty plentiful in the junkyard/ newspaper.

Good luck,
Charlie

Yea I thought about that, but I have done alot to the current engine and wanted to keep it but rebuilt it with new performance components. I ripped it out also b/c I want to put vortec heads and an intake manifold on and it will be so much easier to do out of the car. There is about 135,000 mi on the car so I wanted to just replace all the gaskets and worn parts so it last longer.
