ported stock heads vs ported sr 305 heads?

i'm doing a build up on my 40k 86 iroc and wanted to know which way to go on the heads. port my stock ones with bigger intake valves or get a set of world sr 305 heads and have them ported. i'll have all the usual mods. cam, ported intake, headers, exhaust,etc... what do you guys think. i'd like to hear from some people who have either on there car and there results. thanks ray

i think the majority of people who buy heads for a 305 either get world torquers or l98 aluminum heads...the l98 heads arent emissions legal without an external egr tube welded to ur headers...the world heads have bigger valves and will get u good power and i have heard no negatoves...i recently heard that ported lb9 heads do the trick nicely...however spending the money porting the world heads might not be very cost effective...obviously the best choice is the most expensive, its difficult to answer ur question
