iac

I have a problem that my engine got so much fuel that its hardly run.
I have check almost everything and i wonder, is there a way to measuerment the iac like you can do with the tps sensor in volt?
And if so, how many volts should the iac have?
Very thankful for answer and ideas.... Ron22

For the 86 IAC you check the resistance across the IAC coils. The reading should be more than 20 ohms between the terminals that are across from each other.

Whatever you do, don't purt 12 volts to the IAC, that'll kill it.

Give me some details on what the engine is doing.

Hope this helps.
