stalling problems

Good evening,
i don't know if this is the right forum to ask this, but need desperate help. I'm having a bit of a dilema, my stock 350 89 iroc has stalled three times this week. It just happen's, the car won't hesitate, sputter, or do anything out of the ordinary. It just dies! The odd thing is that it starts up right away like if nothing is wrong. What i've noticed is that it has happened right after applying the brake and then applying the gas at a stop sign. I've owned this car for years already and this is the first time it has ever happen to me, so what could be wrong with her? Before I forget, I had the fuel pump replaced last year.

Thanks,
Gerry
P.S. Other than that she runs perfectly.

Let the fun begin. I had tis problem and it turned out to be a combination of a bunch of different things. i will tell you, the biggest cause of this is a bad pick-up/ignition module. You need to pull your dist. cap and have a real good look. Make sure all the bolts are tight and that the module has plenty of dielectric gel on it. Next, definately look at the fuel pump relay and the fuel pump relay connection. Also, almost forgot, test the EGR system thoroughly.
You need to take care of it soon because mine stalled me as I was pulling accross a 5 lane and I came, no lie, about 8 inches to getting smashed by a loaded dumptruck. Getting a slose look at the grille of a Mack truck will motivate you to get it fixed.
Other than that, are you ahving any other problems with start or anything?

Eyerock89,

Thanks for the reply. It turned out to be a couple of vacuum hoses.

Yhanks,
Gerry
