a freind online told me that i could clean my EGr. how would i do this

you can remove it and use conact cleaner or carb cleaner on the pintle looking at the valve from the bottom. However, for the amount of dissasembly involved, a new one is only about $75.00 from the dealer. I have issues with mine and i'm going for new because if cleaning it doesn't work i'd be an unhappy camper. At least with a new one i'll know it should absolutely be resolved....

$35 from Advanced for new one. Don't know about the quality vs. OEM though.

Definitely a big price difference, 86. Just that it's in such a convienient spot, ya know? I only want to do it once...lol. Good looking out tho!

Make sure you delete it on the eprom or you will get a ses light when you are cruising down the highway.
