what is the power range for tpi

i have been told that a tpi system stops making power a 4000-4500 rpm when its stock is that true and will it produce power to higher rpms when mods are done to the motor and not the injection or is that just killing the motors potenial

4800 is where most tpi's start to die

yeah it dies around there, thats why i think i lose e.t time in the 1/4 mile because my tranny shifts like around 5,500 on the 2nd to drive shift.

u can feel the engine just reving and not pulling anymore. just run out of hp and its limits.

so when i drag race shifting at 5000 rpm is good for my tpi or can i pull higher because i did a sipmle port and polish job with a dremel tool to the exhaust ports and just polished the intake ports but i dont know if that with the headers and the flat tops and cam that i put in it would let it pull higher or just more at the normal rpm range

the real tpi powerband = 4200 rpms - 4600 rpms..

everything else is just cookie dough

and just for the record... the L03 stock camshaft powerband is Idle - just off idle
