TPI Timing?
I have a 1991 Trans Am with a 350 TPI.
I want to check the timing to see if its whats wrong with my car. I was told there is some wire you have to disconnect on it before checking it or it will be off. can anyone help me out by telling me which wire this is and where it is. A pic would help also. Also can you tell me what the timing should be set at on a 1991 350 TPI motor.

Stock timing is 6*.....Should be a tan wire coming out of the engine harness over on the passenger side towards the back with a black connector on it that you unplug.
