TPI Gaskets + fuel filter + FPR Question.....

Well, I am 95% sure my hard starts after the car is turned off is due to leaky injectors. After sitting 20 + minutes it starts like crap (Giving it half throttle when cranking helps it start way quicker). And before I try to start it after 20 + minutes, it still has a good 20 lbs of fuel in the lines. So its not leaking back through the fuel pump.

So I guess its time to rip apart the intake and send the injectors away.

Anyway, does anyone know of any quality TPI gaskets and fuel filter I can get? Thanks!

Also I heard a Bad FPR can cause this also. I was told to turn the car off, and pull the vaccum line from the fuel pressure regulator. And if it smelled like gas, that was my problem.

Is this the vaccum line I pull and smell?

Since the problem is after the car is ran, can I eliminate the cold start injector? When the car is cold and sitting a few days, its fires up SUPER fast and perfect.

cant go wrong with felpro TPI gaskets and AC Delco fuel filters

im guessing you pull the side of the vaccum line that attatches to the regulator not the plenum. any gas in there will mean it's getting past the diaphgram and the regulator is no good. i've never experienced this problem myself though.

Felpro was used on my car... and they are good. Can't go wrong there. Local parts stores should have them. Real parts stores...
