Crate Engine from Auto Center, Any body running this motor?
Is any body running the Crate TPI motor from Auto Center engines out of Texas? The motor is only 1,900 bucks and is TPI ready. Any opinions on it? Feedback?

Looks like a stock L98 pretty much. Might put out better horsepower, a little less torque who knows? A fair deal - not the hottest engine but there'll be money left over for a little valvetrain work to help out
I like the warranty option. Thats good too.

I got a brand new crate motor from a friend for free. It sounds a lot like that, except I know that mine is a 4-bolt main, and based on a ~'76 motor. Mine is still good for 300hp right out of the box though, and that is plenty for what I am doing
