need help!
I removed some spark plug wires yesterday but I can't remember their correct location. The engine is misfiring like crazy could some one tell me their correct locations. I only removed the wires from the passenger side of the engine. A diagram would be nice. Any help would greatly be appreciated.
18436572 is the typical small block chevy engine firing order.
Looking at the front of the car...the cylinder and spark plug closest to you on the right is the number 1 cylinder. the cylinder and spark plug closest to you and on your left is the number 2
8 7
6 5
4 3
2 1
^^Looking at motor from the front of car.

Sorry no diagram, I don't know how to post pics.
But generally speaking, the #1 spark plug wire connection on the distributor will be at about the 5:00 to 5:30 position.
Then justgo clockwise from there with firing order 1,8,4,3,6,5,7,2 to connect the wires. #8 is generally at the 6:30 position.
Hope this helps

Well as long as you still have the drivers side to go by it's a piece of cake. You'll have the 1-3-5-7 wires to go by, going clockwise from the 1 terminal on the dist cap which you say is still plugged in go in this order: 8-4-6-2(the pass side wires) in the rest of the open terminals on the cap. If you need a better explaination feel free to PM me.
