Few questions inside, need some help

just need to know the stock cam size in my 85 305 TPI

also, what would be a better mod for my tpi, cam or 52 mm TB??

The 52mm won't buy you hardly anything, may even hurt your performance, without any other engine mods. I'd definitely suggest a cam first, and then possibly the throttle body if it needs it. May not even need it then, the 350's run the 48mm throttle body as well, so the 305 may never need a larger one.... maybe with a big cam and a lot of head flow work.

well i am doing long tube headers, custom exhaust, homemade intake, and pulleys, so i thought maybe the more air would be better than the cam....but im not sure that is why i am asking

I'd still go with a cam first, you'll see a lot more result for your investment. Although be advised if you go to a radically "bigger" cam you may need a TB as well, but I'd still do the cam first.

no im just going with a nice size cam, nothing radical.....i guess i will stay away from the TB until maybe i get some heads, thanx a lot for the help.....i still neeed to find out the stock cam specs now...lol
