TPI timing issues
This isn't simply how to set the timing, read and followed that without much success. Looking for answers regarding timing. Hope not everything timing is banned.
When following the directions, unplug the plug then set timing at 6 advanced. When the plug is back in, ECM reset the timing reads way advanced when checking, is that normal? The car runs like a dog and if its set at 6 advanced WITH the plug connected it seems to start and run stronger. Not sure what my deal is...
What total advance readings do you guys get on ScanTools with your TPI? Idle and at 3000 RPM's ish? TIA. :hail:
