350 injectors on my 305?

i need new injectors on my 305 tpi 5 speed, i picked up some 350 injectors rated at 22# pretty cheap, would these work on fine on my 305? the way i see it is, 22#s is the maximum it will allow it to flow, and the ecm controls how much fuel it will give to the injector, or am i wrong, and im going to flood my lil 305? can some one explain this to me, i have did a search, found all kinds of usefull stuff, but not the answer to my exact question. motor has the basic mods(header, k&n, exhaust, tb bypass ect..)

yea, im pretty sure that id be ok with them in there, but what i need to know is... does the computer controll how much fuel it gives to the engine, or does the injector, they way i see it is... it doesnt matter how big the injectors are be it 19# or 30# as long as the ecm controls it. or do the injectors controll how much fuel it will feed.

The ecm controls the pulse width. So if your ECM uses the same pulse width for the 22# injectors as it did for the 19# injectors you will run rich because during that pulse width the 22# injector will be putting out more fuel.

In closed loop your computer will overcompensate for the air it thinks it is receiving with 22's in there. The computer will notice the extra fuel and pull back the pulse width to compensate..however, it's my understanding from what I've read on here that during power enrichment mode (flooring it or close to it), the computer relies on predetermined settings within the computer and ignores a few sensors like the 02 so this is where you'll run rich, at WOT. I'm pretty sure the car goes into open loop at WOT as well.
