Guys before I go any farther, I am building the 305, so no go to 350 comments. I have an 8,000 mile '89 GTA with the 5.7....but it is staying stock ...well maybe an ATI blower.... but that's later.

This '87 305 has 38k on it, the usual bolt ons, afpr, cold air intake, accell coil and cap & rotor, underdrive pulleys, 1 & 5/8 headers into gutted cat with 3 inch catback into a flowmaster muffler.

The 7r4 has a shift kit, raised line pressure and a corvette servo with a 2500 TCI stall convertor and rearend is sporting 3.73 's with a TA performance girdle out back with converted rear disks.

I think this little 5.0 is ready for some serious go.

Am contemplating Edlbrock runners and baseplate, port plenum and a larger throttle body....any suggestions on the throttle body..? ..have heard of a new adjustable type of maf for our cars. ?.. one of these will find it's way on.

Cam , well there I need all your help...want it to be street friendly for sure. Heads will probably be S/R torquers with a mild bowl blend and gasket match the intake to these heads.

Let's not forget a new prom and probably a 100 shot of nitrous...
