408 Cam suggestions

Here's the story: I have been running my 406 with 10.2:1 compression, miniram, Crane 230/238@.050 .539/.558 lift, 3200yank, 700R4. Now I am going a little bigger .040 over to a 408, 11.2:1 compression (approx) and am thinking strongly of going to a bigger cam. This is a 89' Iroc with all accesories still. I want to go bigger but don't want to run into issues of not enough vacuum for the power brakes, really choppy idle when the a/c is kicked in. I don't mind knowing it has a cam, I just want it to still be a fun car to drive even if the A/C is cranked. I was thinking of the ZZ-X possibly. Any suggestions or anyone running this cam or similar would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I think you might want to run bigger heads if you can. 195s are pretty small for a 400. I would suggest at least AFR 210s or TFS Rs for a small block chevy. you have a good cam, I just think you need more head.

I agree now the runner may be a little on the small side but they are comp. ported so the flow #'s are around 205@.550 and 210@.600. Even thoughthe runners are smaller their flow #'s are decent and they should keep a strong velocity. Thanks
