Question for those with A/C delete pulley

I searched and read like 50+ threads and couldn't find this answer so I'll ask the question:

I recently put an A/C dete pulley on my car. Do I HAVE to keep those two braces that were supporting the A/C pump? It looks as if the pulley will be just fine without them but I thought I would see if others with the A/C delete pulley had re-installed the braces, or have not, and been just fine.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

No, you don't need them. They support the compressor, the stress is eliminated with the delete pulley.
