Well i have failed 2 times already and im goin on my last try. I was pretty close to passing. Passed Co with no problem and HC i have a 1.04 and need a .80. Got new plugs, wires, cap/rotor, o2, recent cat and didnt pass only at idle though.

Before i go this time i turned down timing to stock, tps at .54, ran some guaranteed to pass emission stuff through. Also im gonna run some 93 octane gas in there. However, i was looking to add something to the gas that will burn real clean. Anyone know some stuff i can get locally, cant seem to find anything. Can i run that heet stuff in the tank with a little bit of gas jsut for the test or will this cause engine damage? Please help guys im going tomorrow and if i dont pass by by car

 

I think octane booster is supposed to help.

My 88 camaro with a 305 passed today!
It idles terribly. I was certain it would fail.
I'm in WA state. If I fail, I can get a waiver if I have a AES certified mechanic fix it. If the bill is more than 200$ then I can get a waiver.

I also read that if I fail I should go into the office and the manager will help diagnose the car.
