Two code 42's in a week!
Last week i was cruisin around at about 40 mph, and felt a sudden loss of power and the check engine light came on.
The car felt like the torque converter never locked, the engine reved freely but the car didn't accelerate fast. Weird stuff.
Got home, checked the code its code 42. checked the resistance across circuit 423 to see if its less than 500 ohms like it says to do in tpi swappers guide. ohms were 2000ish. said loose connection or faulty ignition module.
couldn't find any bad connections, replaced the ignition module and bam it runs perfect for 4 days.
THen I'm cruisin along again and the same thing happened with the same code! What's goin on?

You replaced the ign. module in the distributor , but did you replace the Eletronic Spark Contorl Module , that is on the drivers side over by the burn off relay.
