Looks good.

I have a few questions. Are those MSD 8.5mm super conductor wires? What's that P# for them? Also, do you have a part number for the wire separators that you're using? This looks liek a good set-up that will clear my SLP headers.

Thanks

Robert

hi,

yup its MSD 8.5mm superconductor wire... I bought 25' from jegs and cut my own. The jegs numbers are 121-34019 for the wire, the 90 degree boots are number 121-8849 for the distributor boots, and 121-8850 for the plug boots. The wire looms are Moroso Centerbolt Chevy Wire Loom kit 710-72141 at jegs.

thanks, So far its not the best SR set up, but i will be doing more work in the near future. My original plans were to just drop in the 300hp 350 Tuned Port motor from goautocenter.com and use my stock TPI setup, but i kinda went part crazy after i bought the motor. Right now its got the autocenter motor with the super ram plenum and base, Mr. Gasket 2 peice timing cover, Proform Tall style center bolt valve covers, moroso 6qt. pan+windage tray, accel billetech distributor and msd wires. I plan on picking up a set of heads (looking at S/R torquers right now), lingenfelter Performance Engineering 219/219 camshaft, and 1.6 rockers a couple months after i drop her in. It would definately be easier for me to do that stuff with the motor out of the car, but I have vacation planned in the beginning of june to put all of the stuff in my sig on the car, and i wont have the cash for the heads and cam by then. I'm hoping that i will still see an improvement with the SR on there instead of the TPI. If not, It will look pretty for a couple months, and will still be doing a whole lot better than the tired 305 thats in there right now.

I hope that my new 350 will look as good as that one. I will post my pics in the next couple of months. Right now its just a rebuildable 350 roller 2bolt main for 200bucks. Dont know what it came out of but it did run. going to bore it 30 over and build it.

Got a question about SR will be able to beat new gt stangs and ls1 cars or close, On the highway are upper rpms alot diff then stock tpi?sorry notaustin83z
