bad injector - replace all???
One of my injectors is showing an impedance of only 6 Ohms.
The other ones are between 17,8 and 18.1 Ohms. But two of these have been replaced in the past, they are looking different to the others....
Now I'm thinking about replacing all injectors at the same time...the Accel 150821 as a direct replacement will cost me 225$ + shipping + tax...the cheapest supplier here in Germany wants to have over 100$ for ONE!
I'm also afraid that another injector will go bad in a short period of time and I will have to make the whole work again...
What do you think is the best? Replacing all together???
Thanks for advice!
Jens

gta88 flamered,
I have taken my TPI intake, runners, and plenum apart many times and it is never easy (or fun). If I was in your situation, I would replace all the injectors just to be on the safe-side.
Also, it seems like a bit of a waste to pull all that stuff off your motor for a single injector - then have to do it all again if another one goes out.
I put Accel 24# injectors in my car 3 years ago and have not had any injector-related problems since.
Hope this helps!
Best of luck.

I don't know how many miles are on the those injectors but if there is a lot of milage I would replace them all. If they are relatively new anything can go bad. In that case I would only replace the bad one.
I do this with my headlights etc. If one goes out I replace them all as I figure the others are not far behind. Allen

The car now has 65 tmls, six of the injectors are the grey/silver ones (Multech ?) and two are black/blue.
I've decided to relace them all, just to be on the safe side
Thanks for help!
