vaccuum line and coolant diagrams

I was wondering if there is anywhere I could get some diagrams that show what hooks up to where on the car. I saw a crude one on chevythunder.com of the vaccuum lines that doesn't help much. Does anyone else have anything that could help? Even if they wrote out what goes where, that would help. I'm doing an install and need to know asap. I'm going from tbi to tpi and need to know about both the vaccuum and coolant lines. Thanks in advance.

Ah I was so tired this morning I didn't even realize I didn't post that. I need it for an 88 Camaro 350 TPI. I'm swapping it over into my 91 TBI engine and every little bit of checking would help. Thanks.

Okay Pat,

Here are two diagrams, the first is for the 87 - 89 TPI. The second is for the 90 - 92 TPI routing. Hope these help you some.

Ok that's a lot clearer. Quick question....What can I do with the CCV? I have the PCV hooked up to the one side. Can I just get a breather cap for the other and plug up the end on the TB side? Also, I seem to not have the end where the EGR hooks into. I have the piece that has the two connectors, but not the piece that goes into. Is there a way I could just make something up or do I need the plug end? I hope you know what I am talking about.

ttt.....I wanted to ask about the egr solenoid. I have the vacuum lines going to it, but I don't have it in my tpi setup that I purchased. Can I run my setup without it? What about the tbi solenoid? Are they the same? What can I do? Please help, I'm planning on starting this engine up on Monday (tomorrow) and I need to know if it will throw codes, hurt idle or anything like that. Thanks.

Pat i found a real easy way when i swapped over. I went to the dealership and bought the vacuum lines. They are all prebent and can only reach so far, real easy wayto figure it out, plus they don't cost all that much either and gives the engine compartment a better look.

I already have the factory vacuum lines...everything except for the one that goes to the purge cannister. I just need to know about the egr solenoid. Can they be purchased at pep boys or the dealership or do I need to go to any junkyards? Do I even need it or can I get by without it? Will the tbi solenoid work in my tpi setup?

Yea you can get the ones for the egr from the dealership, in fact those are the same ones i had trouble with and bought. Different seloniod, TPI's egr seloniod mounts on the coil bracket.
