Will this cam work?

I can get this cam for free and need to know if it will work. Im not very good at understanding how cam specs translate into power/drivability etc. so I need your opinions.

1991 Camaro Z28 355CID Auto ((700-R4 with 2600 stall))
Accell 58mm throttlebody , Edelbrock runners , Edelbrock base , Accell 24lb injectors , Holley AFPR , Crane 1.6 Gold roller rockers , Edelbrock Performer heads ((64 CC)) , Edelbrock TES headers 3" no cat exhaust , cars running 9.8:1 compression. The cam thats currently in their is a Comp Cams 08-410-8 (( I know....but it was free)) http://www.compcams.com/Technical/Cu...ML/JPG/142.jpg and I got 263rwhp on the dyno on the stop chip with timing at 8*. I want to hit 300rwhp cause this is my daily driver. Now the cam I can get is 08-305-8 http://www.compcams.com/Technical/Cu...ML/JPG/146.jpg
This is somewhat similar to a custom grind in my buddies 383CID that put down an untuned 367rwhp with A/F in the mid 9s. Will this cam work and are my chances of hitting 300rwhp realistic with tuning and cam swap??? I appreciate any help, suggestions and opinions. Thanks alot guys.

That cam would be hard to beat for the money!

Seriously, the difference in the cams would be be around 25 peak rwhp and about a 600RPM higher shift point - definitely "better" than what you're running right now. Plus,,, it's not a bad choice to begin with. Certainly what ever small difference in power you would see by running a cam with different specs,,,, sure wouldn't be worth the money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After the cam then it gets tuned cause the AFR was running in the low 10s. I just wanna make sure that there is no glaring problems
