how would this be for a project?
run around with my 305 for a while. and back in my garage i build up a 350, or more preferably, a 400 small block. what would i have to do to get...say...350 ponies out of the thing?
o, and keep the TPI, but will switch to whatever would be needed, if it keeps the price cheaper then using the TPI.
really just a thought here, my parents are thinking about giving me my moms 02 s-10 crew cab for a graduation present:hail: ...
maybe just stick a nice ls1 or something in there
and then turn my truck into an all out drag truck.

If you want 350 HP, its gonna be tough to impossible with a stock TPI.
The LS1 swap would probably be more expensive than a 400.
What are the smog laws like there?

basically have a can and thats it. lol. not much at all. and we never pass emission laws anyway so we usally bring it to someone to have them just put a sticker on the thing.
and the ls1 i was talking about, just stick that in my moms truck to pull my truck around to strips and stuff.
and what would u reccomend other then TPI? i mean couldn't i just run bigger runners, throttle body, and hog out the plenum/intake? that would be cheaper then something like a ramjet wouldn't it?
bascially, what would i have to do? i think i could use a carb too seeing that my truck is an 84. they still had carbs in 84, right?
