870 to 730 ECM swap questions
I've got a couple of questions for a friend who wants to do this swap on his '85 TPI w/700R4 and 3.73 rear gears. The gears were changed before he got so it no longer has the 3.42's. He has all the parts and the information on the wiring changes, sensors, etc. so he's good there.
1) Can the '85 chip be used or will he need a custom chip?
2) If the stock '85 chip can be used should he go to 3.42's like the stock '85's?
