i have an 85 trans am with the 305 tpi. i was thinking about boring it 60 over with a matching crank with the edelbrock rpm performer cylender heads i have not picked a cam for it yet need some help picking a cam any suggestions. with the stealth ram set up a turbo 400 tranny and a 2500 stall converter new rear and 3.73 gears and a 200 shot of n2o direct port and everything forged internally. any suggestions. on this set up

 

If you are spending that much money, have to do the machine work, get a 350 to start and use the 305 as a multi plant pot on your front lawn.

If for some reason you decide to stick with the 305, forget boring it out as much as you possibly can, its not worth the effort. Bore it as little as you have to so that you can clean up any wear to the cylinders, thats it.
