?tpis?
?tpis?
On the top of my tpi unit is says "TPIS"( a fuel injector as the "I") where it should say Tuned Port Injection. What does this mean? Is it an after market tpi unit? does it add more power? Please help me with my question. Thanks.

Probably that TPIS Fast-pak (??)... Take the rubber bellows off the throttle body and see if there is an airfoil installed as well... Also look for an AFPR under the plenum. The cover plate comes as part of that package..
tpis is a company that sells aftermarket tpi parts. The plate cover is a vanity item from the compant. Hopefully the previous owner did some performance upgrades too. You can get the plate as part of their fastpack kit or just seperatley. You can also find some vanity plates at jegs that say pontiac or chevrolert or the bowtie. I have seen a lot of different ones but I like the original just fine.
