mine is close to ram air in that I have the hood cut open and have a cone air filter on the TB so as your going air is blowing right on the filter. it made a big difference when I did that.

What about getting water on your filter, or do you not drive in the rain? I've been wanting to figure some sort of a ram air setup out for my car (maybe buy the ram air hood..), but I'm always worried about getting water on the filter and it not being able to suck in air as well..

I really don't make it a point to drive it in the rain much. the idea of someone hitting me due to driving to fast in bad weather conditions scares me. although I can say I have had to drive it in the rain because I just got caught, but to be honest I did not really get any water in through the hood, the way it is cutthe inner hood lamination provides a lip that the water doesn't just pour into the hood.
