i'am new to using a scan tool and making some progress, my question is when i start my car cold the maf reads about 1.75 volts , as it slowly warms i notice the maf voltage slowly starts to rise up to about 2.6 to 2.7 volts is this ok !

Yes...the wire in the maf is heated to a certain temp, and as air passes it by it ,it is cooled ,thus the ecm ups the voltage to the maf to mantain the temp on the wire, and uses this voltage to calculte the air to fuel ratio..
