Numbers on bottom of plenum

So I'm in the middle of doing a port-n-polish job on my stock runners, plenum and intake. I was just wondering what the numbers on the bottom side of the plenum are for? I don't have my digital camera so I can't grab a pic of it but there are three circles with some numbers in them and right below them is an 8-digit number reading "14081006". Anyone know?

well there's also the three circles that have what appears to be like a date code of something along those lines. So I can grind off the part number but I'm still not sure on the circles...

Those probably show the date and time that it was manufactured.

thats what I thought but I wasn't sure. It makes more sense because the first circle has "87" in it which is probably the year since this car is an '88
