Fuel line Q's
First of all I'd like to introduce myself before i go pestering y'all with questions. I am about to embark on a TBI-TPI swap on my truck. Its a '95 Chevy 1500 with a 350, reg. cab ect. nothing great.
Anyway a while back while researching stuff (back before i bought my TPI) i saw some fuel lines specifically made for the swap to run from my fuel filter to the hard lines on the fuel rails of the TPI. Well i cant find them now. I thought that it would be a little easier than making my own, but it seems that unless one of you have just happened across them that I'll need to make them.
What size fittings do i need? i know i need some 3/8 inch and 5/16 fuel injection hose, but what size are the fittings on the fuel rails? I know they arent normal AN fittings, so what exactly would I need. I've got everything else (mechanically anyway) figured out, but Ive never had to even think about fuel lines before and I am at a bit of a disadvantage here.
I hate to come on here sounding like the "stoopid newb" but this whole TPI thing is getting me a little nervous. Getting this last confusing bit taken care of will make me feel tons better so i can collect all the parts i need and get to tearing apart my truck!

Hey don't feel bad that is what this place is all about! The fuel lines for the TPI has 5/8 inch fittings on one end and one is also 3/4". They are easily obtained for a very low price at your local wrecking yard and you should have no problem finding a perfect pair of hoses. Fuel delivery and Fuel return. The Corvette TPI's fuel rails exit on the passenger side of the motor where as the Camaro's TPI exit's on the driver's side. You may find what you need from many vehicles that will fit your needs. Much cheaper than trying to make your own. I bought a fuel rail and the fuel lines and hoses for about $15.00 at Pick-a-Part Monrovia and all were in perfect condition. Good luck with your project. I had a lot of fun doing what you are doing. I've done 4 differant conversions to date and it's bever the same as the one before it.
