which would have better results, buying a edelbrock base manifold for my tpi, slp runners, or a 52mm throttle body?

Base and runners, hands down.

Read <A HREF="https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/showthread.php?s=&threadid=104116">this thread</A> about larger TB diameters.

If you can only afford one then get the base. Neither of the others will do you much good without a base that will go above 4500rpms.

The whole setup is designed a certian size to go with each piece. Replacing one piece wont effect much.

Headers/Exhaust.... then base/runners...... then cam maybe heads... THEN throttle body.

See my sig, I'm still running a 48mm.

From the parts you have mentioned I would go with the Edelbrock base. I agree that you should modify your exhaust system first if you have not done so. Allen
