New scanner readings
Bought a new alternator this afternoon, not one of those worthless rebuilds. I'll never buy another one of those again.
I'm not getting any hesitation anymore when gassing it from idle, except when the MAF is plugged in. All tests tell me it's malfunctioning.
Here's my readings from a few minutes ago.
Knock Retard = 0 degrees
IAC = 22 steps
Coolant Temp = 159.8 degrees
Injector Pulse = 1.6mS
Desired Idle = 687rpm
O2 Sensor = ready
Run Time = 183secs
Engine Load = 40
TPS = .62v
MAP = 1.74v
Manifold Air = 95 degrees
Engine RPM = 694
CCP Purge = off
MAF = 5gr/sec (unplugged)
EGR Duty Cycle = 0%
Air Divert Solenoid = off
CCP Duty Cycle = 0%
O2 Sensor = 4mV
Air Switch Solenoid = off
Battery Voltage = 13.7v (voltmeter says 14.5 with motor running)
O2 Cross Counts = 10
Learn Control = enabled
TCC Status = not locked
Fuel Pump = 12.9v
Block Learn = 137
Rich / Lean = lean
Spark Advance = 15.7 degrees
BLK LRN Cell = 0
Closed Loop
Knock Sensor = 103
Integrator = 131
So how does it look?

What are you getting for the MAF with it plugged in?
That"s a lot of knock you got there also and your block learn is one count away from the max.

Well, old buddy, I've got to get in there and adjust the rockers to zero lash so all that knocking will go away.
I'll plug that MAF back in tomorrow and scan it again.
BTW, do you have anything you could send me that explains what all that stuff means?

Just throwing this out here. Seems to be a little lean, computer is richening it up, IAC is a little more closed than normal - maybe. I'm suspecting a vacuum leak.
