Problem is not ignition.... it's the MAF
I have another post on this board about my car dying. Well, I unpluged my MAF and now it runs... what does this mean? my MAF is bad... my burn -off relay? If I have to replace my MAF is there one that is better than stock I can buy... If im gonna spend some bucks, I might as well buy a better one.

Do not buy the Granatelli one. It is a piece of garbage, I just bought one and returned it. Car ran worse with it. Either buy a new AC/Delco one, or a Cardone rebuilt. New AC/Delco's cost about 360.00, rebuilds about 160.00.

Probably a relay. Swap those out first as you'll want to start with new ones if you do need to replace the MAF.
The Wells unit is the preferred replacement.

Autozone has got them. And I believe you can actually use an 86-89 maf on your car, but you just cannot use an 85 maf on the 86-89 cars.
