Fuel safe shrader valve?
I removed the shrader valve (the valve stem in the fuel pressure test port on the fuel rail) from my fuel rail a few years ago to mount a under hood fuel pressure gauge. I am trying to trace down a fuel smell and it is coming in the area of my fuel pressure gauge so I want to remove the gauge and put a new shrader valve (valve stem) in. Does anyone know where I can buy a fuel safe shrader valve like the one that came with the car? I am worried that if I use a valve made for tires the fuel will eat away the seal.

you should be able to get a new 1 at most any chevy dealer.
seems like the last 1 i got was around 6 or 7 dollars or so. make sure you have a cap with a good seal to put on it too.
don't use 1 for a tire, it won't last.
