hey guys i'm trying to pull off the injectors from the fuel rail and they won't budge.

what am i doing wrong?

I beleive there is a very descriptive help file on doing this in the tech article section of this site. It tells you exactly how much to move the clips etc. However, having done this myself, I can tell you that even when you move the clips properly, the injectors still don't like to move... i had to put the injectors, one by one, into a vice and pop the fuel rail off of the injector rather than visa versa. I had new injectors though, so it didn't matter if i damaged the old ones... this may not be an option if you're just sending them out for a cleaning.


*edit: whoops, missed your last post, oh well, maybe someone else can use this info.

 

just push the clip all the way over, then put the injectors. they don't like coming out but give me a yank and they will be fine
