Are all injectors the same?????

well not the same but will ANY injector work on a tpi engine? im building my new engine with a stealthram and see good deals on lt1, ls1, ford svo injectors etc but dont know if they will fit and hook up correctly.
so my question i guess is will any injector physically fit onto the fuel rail and will any injector plug into the harness as well? if not what are my choices??

LT1, LS1, and Ford SVO will all swap right in. Some of the newer (like from the last 2 model years) injectors have a different style plug and I hear rumors that they're low-impedance injectors. Don't quote me on that last part though.

I've got injectors from a 1992-1995 3800 Series I N/A (8 of course) I got them from a u-pull-it and sent them out ot be flow matched and cleaned. Add new o-rings and I think I have about $85 invested.

Please explain what is meant by flow matching. I am collecting information to port the plenum and runners and install an adjustabe fuel pressure regulator on my 1989 GTA 5.0 liter TPI. I have been referred to the web site of the person who cleans and flow tests injectors. I have the original 19 lbs/hr injectors. When this work is being done I would like to address any injector work at that time.
