I'm picking up my GTA from ottawa this weekend. It just had the distributir swapped and is now running.

I sent up some mounting hardware that came with the coil. The mechanic couldn't figure out how to mount it. Where exactly does it mount again?. We took it off in a hurry and it was pretty damn dark where the car was at the time so we had to leave it.

I swear it came off near the firewall around the back runners but I couldn't find the holes and apparently the mechanic couldn't either.

I really don't want to drive down with the coil jumping around under the hood.

 

there is a heavy bracket that should be mounted to the two rear intake manifold bolts, and the coil bracket mounts on that with two 10mm bolts.
