Take the fitting for the Cold Start Injector off the left rail and plug it and there should be no problem. I am using one on my 89 Iroc. I took the tubing for the Cold Start Injector out of the fitting and had a friend weld up the hole in the fitting and turn it down in a lathe. I put a new o-ring on it and screwed it back into the rail, this was two years ago and it hasn't leaked yet.
