using old 305 injectors on new 350 block with 305 heads

i have a brand new 350 block, bored 30 over with a hydrolic flat tappet cam, with about 420 intake and 444 exhaust lift. it is a mild 350, and i am using the same 305 heads, however they have better springs, and they are newly machined. i am going to be using the exact same TPI setup, only i am changing the knock sensor to a 350 knock sensor. will this all work? if not, what do i have to change? thanks!

HEY THERE, i also have a 355 with 305 heads but i have 350 inj's.iv'eread you can run 305 inj's but you need a adjustable fuel pressure regulator, and iv'e been told that the 305 heads put a damper on the horesepower like 30hp..so i'm looking into a set of 350 heads myself. DON'T get me wrong my cars pulls like a bat out of hell and i like it.. iv'e had my combo running for about 5 yrs...good luck and enjoy the R U S H...

I don't think it is going to hurt anything to run the stock fpr. You might want to keep your eyes open for an adjustable one though. But not a show stopper.

I think that's because he's using the 350 injectors instead of the 305's, I'd get one because any time you modify an engines ability to breath you're going to need tuning and that includes fuel pressure.

I think he is saying the 305 injectors will work with a higher fuel pressure. The only way to up the fuel pressure is with an afpr. I think it isn't that big of a deal. It should run with the stock regulator until he can get an adjustable one. That is an easy swap that can be done a little farther down the road. It might not be the perfect set up, but if you just want to get it running, it should do.
