I just purchased a 91 z and it is my first 5 speed ive owned.How can i tell what gears,rear end and transmission i have.I read your guys post's about t-5,7400 ect..... which rpo codes tell that

Transmission: 6 speed
If it's a 5 speed then you have a t-5.Auto's are 700r4.If you look under the center console lid there should be a list a the rpo codes.That will tell you everything your car came with.
