Can LT1 intake be run with TPI ECM & wiring/sensors?
I had a thought last night after board member Morley pointed out the mismatch I am going to have when I retrofit my high revving 2.02/1.7 valved 327 with the TPI I already bought. Can I use an LT1 intake manifold and fuel rail with all the parts I have for my TPI? I know this is an *** backwards way to go about doing things, but I already spent $1100 on the TPI setup, and I'm not going to be too thrilled if my car is slower now than it was with a $75 carb. I'm only running 14.4@98.4 mph with a carb (with a 2.45 60 foot, that mph indicates around a 13.9 1/4 if I hooked up my 4 speed car) so I figured the TPI with 24 lb injectors and a custom EPROM would not be out of its league here. If it is though, I thought I could use the LT1 intake to allow me good airflow up to much higher RPMS, while still using the ECM and wiring from the TPI.

You can use everything from the TPI setup except the manifold, runners, fuel rails and plenum, the LT1 replaces those parts. You will still use the throttle body, injectors, wiring harness, ECM and sensors.
Contact John Millican at john@lt1intake.com , and he will be able to tell you exactly what you need to hook up an LT1. John also sells LT1's already modded for use on the L98's.
