Let's say I wanted to replace...

every sensor, relay and vacuum line on my 88 ISUK-Z with TPI. How much would that cost?

Why would you ask that question here? Not to be a jerk, but pick up the phone and call Checker Auto or your local parts store and ask them...:lala:

Well, I'm asking because any time anyone ever has a problem with their TPI 3rd-gen they spend weeks trouble shooting, they replace every damn thing under the hood short of the engine itself only to find the problem mysteriously STOP with no explanation. Right now I'm having a problem with my shytbird Camaro, it stalls as soon as it starts. I've searched all over the boards and have not found an answer, only a bunch of suggestions that eventually amount to replacing just about everything that can be unbolted or unscrewed or disconnected. So I was wondering if anyone ever kept any receipts.

Have you:

1. Checked fuel pressure.

2. Do you have a scanner to check and see what your sensors are telling the ECM?

If it dies as soon as you let off the key, you have an electrical problem somewhere. Simply replacing every sensor/relay under the hood may or may not help you.

Find the problem, and fix the problem. Don't spend a bunch of money you don't have to. (for that matter, for the price of all the sensors/relays, you could take it to a shop and have THEM fix if for less.....)

So every time you have a problem with the way the engine runs, you're going to drop 7 bills on sensors, etc?

Think I'd invest in a scantool and manual
