LG4 to TPI - fuel pump selection

I'm looking at possibly using the MSD-2225. Anyone with any experience using this pump.

One concern I have is that it lists barb fittings for the fuel lines. Considering the fuel pressures for TPI are in the 40 psi range, is this adequate? Should I just use some braided hose and clamps to attach it to the metal fuel lines?

Lemme hear some thoughts as I'm hoping to start working the fuel system this weekend.

As always, thanks guys!

I have not used that MSD pump, I have a Walbro. However, I did use clamps for the first week I ran a MPFI set up. It was fine and never leaked. Make sure that the barb fittings go on really tight and you use two clamps for safty. You will be OK.

I ended up calling AeroQuip and talked them and got theexact fitings That I needed.

Have a part # or link perhaps? I want to make sure I do this right since I'm really in no hurry.

I just ordered that pump, some fuel line and the blockoff plate for the mechanical fuel pump from summit so they are on the way.

Hey Im swapping from 305 carb. to 350 TPI, and i wanted to see if u guys could tell me what the fuel lines from the fuel pump module are. I know 1. line is for the fuel feed, and the 2nd line is for the fuel return, the 3rd is for the evap and then there is one more and im not sure what thats for. Is it a feed and return to the evap canister? any response would be helpful, thanks
