Rear gears for 305 and AOD

Any advantage/disadvantage in using 3.42's over 3.23's with a 2004R for a car that will see just street use?
Thanks,
Larry.

Nope, just that the 3.42's will hurt your mileage just a bit. No biggie. I got 3.42's in my car and drive it on the highway mostly. Get about 210-230 to a tank.

BTW AOD is a Ford Tranny

Oh sure give me a hard time about my abreviations. I thought about that when I was writing it, but couldn't think of anything else to use, should've just used "OD". I'll go to my room now.
Larry.
