Code 34 MAF Sensor...help!!
Hey guys, I am still working on my Berlinetta 85 V6, the other day I noticed that the Engine Check light was on. I did the diagnostics and the code 34 came up. I changed the MAF sensor, and the engine check light still shows me that code, even when I unplugged the negative cable from the battery for a while. Now I changed the MAF sensor relay, nothing changes...........Could you guys give me a clue if something else has to be with the MAF sensor electric circuit.............Does anyone know how to test the MAF sensor and check if it is bad or not?.........the only thing I know is that when I put my hand on the MAF Sensor the car accelerates very good, if I take it off, the car misfires through the MAF sensor.........Thanks for giving me a hand with it!!!

If I remember correctly, isnt 34 a MAF burn-off circuit failure code?
For a V6 MAF car, exactly what is the 34 code?

I had this same trouble when I went thru my engine swap. My fix was easy...it turned out that the hose that connects from the throttle body to the passengers side valve cover was disconnected. Actually like a dumb ***, I capped this port on my throttle body.
If you do this, (cap the throttle body port) you'll get this code. Something like "Mass Airflow Signal Voltage Low" or something like that. Take a look at this hose, or sometimes it's an aluminum pipe on the valve cover. If it's clogged, or disconnected you'll get this code.
Hope you figure it out...

Well, what can I say, I really appreciate what you did for me guys, thank you guys very much for all your help!!!! I just found out that the brown wire that goes to the MAF relay had not power, and following it up to its end, I noticed that the fuse was broken. I am gonna try what happened to you Joey IROC, it is a good idea to take a look to that hose in case that it could be a future problem.
